What is the difference between SYNLawn and all the other turf companies out their?

SYNLawn is the only fully integrated synthetic grass company. From product manufacturing, to design, installation and warranty, SYNLawn provides services every step of the way.

As the manufacturer, SYNLawn provides unmatched quality and varieties with over 40 choices of artificial grass.

How long will the SYNLawn synthetic grass last in the Arizona sun?

Depending on the variety of product, SYNLawn artificial grasses have warranties ranging from 7 – 12 years.

How do you clean the synthetic lawn after your pets?

For solid wastes, simply scoop up the solid stuff then rinse the rest with a garden hose just like you would with natural grass. If it's a big mess, you can easily clean up using a solution of equal parts of vinegar and water, then rinse. That's all there is to it, and your pets will love it!

Does the grass get hot in the Arizona sun?

All of SYNLawn synthetic grasses will be at least ambient temperature. Some products (non-infilled) will be cooler than the infilled products. Once you add the infill (a mixture of sand and rubber) it tends to retain more heat than the non-infilled products. More information about these products are available on the SYNLawn website.

Does the nylon (non-infill fiber) retain more water than the polyethylene?

The nylon fiber does retain 4% more moisture than the polyethylene fiber but once the polyethylene fiber is infilled with a sand and rubber mixture, it retains 81% more moisture than the nylon fiber.

Is infill the sand that goes underneath the grass?

Infill is a sand and rubber mixture, which is added to the top of the grass during one of the final steps of the installation process. Infill is needed in products with a lower face weight. The infill is used to "fill" the spaces between the grass blades in these products with low face weight and to assist the fiber in standing up and make it look like grass.

What is face weight?

There is face weight and total weight. The face weight is the weight of the fibers in one square yard of synthetic turf not including the backing (only the grass blades). Face weight determines the thickness of the grass.

Total weight is the weight in one square yard of grass fibers and the backing (the total product). It is important to know the difference as the amount between face and total weight will vary as much as 27 ounces.
